MCHD Art Show
World Art Day is Monday, April 15th and we’re celebrating by displaying MCHD students works of art Wednesday, April 17 through Friday, April 19th.
The opening night will be Wednesday, April 17th at 6pm.
MCHD students’ art will be on display on the 2nd floor of Stanley Marketplace.
Dine in or carry out with Boychik for 10% back to the MCC on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, or with Maria Empanada on Thursday for 25% back. Mention MCHD when ordering.
March Dine Back
It’s Women’s History Month and our March Dine Back is Tessa Delicatessen, a woman-owned restaurant.

Annual Fundraising Event
Our biggest fundraising event of the year will be held the week of March 11, 2024. The MCHD Collaborative Community (MCC) is proud to host a Giving Week Campaign + in-person raffle, March 11-15, 2024. Each campus will display a poster to track our donation progress to our goal of $20,000! The MCC is a 501c3 organization so all donations are tax deductible. All donations earn you raffle tickets (1 for $25, 5 for $100, 10 for $200, 30 for $500).
Each year, the MCHD Collaborative Community (MCC) relies on donations and fundraisers to support our school’s teachers, classrooms and community. These funds have provided dollars:
for our teachers for continuing education training courses, appreciation initiatives, and classroom supplies.
for community events like the Back to School Bike Parade and Fall Festival.
for sustainability initiatives like the three Farmstands, the beehive, the chicken coop, worm composting bins, and Happy Beetle services.

On Wednesday, March 20 we’ll host a final campaign drive in-person raffle event at Rosenbergs (Stanley) from 5-7pm. We will raffle off amazing items and have a great time socializing with pizza and drinks!

Hen Homecoming
Join us for a Live Stream on Instagram (@mchdcc) on Monday, February 26th at 1pm for our Hen Homecoming. The Central Park campus will be welcoming hens to the school’s sustainability yard.
January Dine Back
Little India in Central Park is our January Dine Back restaurant for Thursday, January 18. They’ll donate 20% of proceeds stemming from the MCHD community. Please be sure to mention MCHD when dining in or picking up.
December Dine Back
Our December Dine Back restaurant is Esters Oneida Park on Tuesday, December 12 from 4 to 9pm. Esters will give back 20% of all MCHD sales (dine in or take out). Please be sure to mention MCHD when dining in our taking out. We hope to see you there!
Holiday Appreciation
Each year, the MCC organizes a little holiday appreciation for MCHD teachers and staff with help from the children. We like to keep it a surprise so please watch your email inboxes for more info to come.

Fall Festival
Mark your calendars for our annual Fall Festival on Saturday, October 21 from 2:30pm - 6:30pm. We’ll have food trucks, games, pumpkins, music, crafts and more. It’s one of our highly anticipated events! We hope to see you there!

Back by popular demand, our October dine back is with Phoenician Kabob on Colfax and Ivy. Please mention MCHD when dining in or picking up your food. A portion of sales stemming from our community will go back to the MCC.
Hispanic Heritage Month
National Hispanic Heritage Month started in 1968 as Hispanic Heritage Week. It was expanded in 1988 to a 30-day period starting on September 15 and ending on October 15.
This time period was chosen because it includes Independence Day celebrations for Belize, Chile, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico and Nicaragua.
Hispanic and Latine Americans have wonderful traditions to honor during this month and year-round.

MCC Info Night
Join us on Wednesday, September 13 at 6pm to learn more about the MCHD Collaborative Community (MCC) and how we support MCHD. Come to simply learn, ask questions, volunteer to get involved in upcoming events, or to join our board. All are welcome. This event coincides with our Maria Empanada dine back so we’ll order some empanadas to share. We’ll meet in first floor networking space (next to Denver Biscuit Co & Misaki).

August Dine Back
Celebrate Maria Montessori’s birthday with us by enjoying a scoop or two of Nuggs Ice Cream. Nuggs will donate 20% of ALL the sales made between 4-7 PM at their shop to help our school! We hope to see many familiar faces at Nuggs.
Get Acquainted Garden Night
We celebrate MCHD’s first week back to school, at each campus, with dinner. This is a great way to meet other families! You’ll receive communications from your campus director with the details of Get Acquainted Night at your campus.

Back-to-School Bike Parade
Celebrate the 2023-2024 school year at our annual Back to School Bike Parade at Central Park.
Everyone will have a chance to decorate bikes, scooters, or strollers.
9:00 - 10:00am: Bike decorations + play time.
10:00 - 11:30am: Bike ride around the park + play time.
We’ll have a coffee cart, water, food, and giveaways. We hope to see you there!
Please bring your water bottles and / or coffee mugs.
May Dine Back
Our May Dine Back is Dang Soft Serve (a Little Man ice cream concept). Join us for an afternoon outside at Dang in Park Hill. 20% of all sales will go back to the MCC to support MCHD. The fundraiser will run Thursday, May 25 from 3:00 - 6:00pm. Hope to see you there!
Community Garage Sale
Calling all to sell (or shop)! The MCC is hosting an MCHD Community Garage Sale during the famous Central Park Garage Sale. We’re registered and on the map so bound to have lots of shoppers. If you have stuff to sell, you have two options*:
Rent a table for $30 and sell your stuff. Choose to keep all of your proceeds, or donate some to the MCC or to your child’s classroom.
Pay $30 (funds go directly to the MCC) to drop off your nicely organized and priced items. We’ll sell everything for you. All proceeds will go to the MCC.
The garage sale starts at 10am on Saturday, May 6. We’ll be there early to set up and accept donations. All unsold items will be picked up at the end of the day. If you’d like to participate, register today.
*MCHD staff can rent or drop off for no fee.
April Dine Back

Giving Week

By contributing, you’re directly supporting our teachers, children, classrooms and community. Seventy percent of MCC funds support our teachers through continuing education training or acts of appreciation. We also aid in making sure MCHD campuses and classrooms are environments full of enriching learning experiences.
On Friday, March 17th we’ll host a final campaign drive in-person event at Rosenbergs (Stanley Market) from 5-7pm. We will raffle off amazing items such as a 2 night stay at the YMCA of the Rockies, tickets to Rocky Mountain Folks Festival in Lyons, gift certificates to summer camps, a one month family membership to Übergrippen, tickets to museums, symphony, the zoo, and so much more!
